So, you may want to pay attention to whether there is a seasonal pattern to the snoring, or if it is worse after the house is dusted. Age is another contributor to snoring in dogs. Many vets recommend getting your dog a round doggy bed that makes the curl up and therefore snore less. If your dog is allergy prone, try to take his walk when the pollen and pollution counts are lowest, at times when there's the least amount of traffic.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Useful Ways to Stop Dog Snoring&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;1 .&lt;/span&gt; If your dog is suffering from snoring caused by allergens make sure you clean his bedding every day. Walk him outdoors when the pollen levels are low. Keep him in a smoke free environment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you have followed all the tips suggested and apart from that if your dog snores louder and louder, it is better for you to take him to veterinarian. Laser-assisted uvulopalatoplasty &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:85%;" &gt;&lt;span class="style28"&gt;(LAUP)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; &lt;/span&gt;less expensive alternative to UPPP is  laser-assisted uvulopalatoplasty which uses laser techniques to shorten  the uvula and vaporize parts of your palate.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;3 .&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Cautery-assisted  uvulopalatoplasty (CAUP)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Instead of a laser, some physicans  use cautery equipment.  A heated wire or electrode is used to burn away  all or part of the uvula.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;4 . &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Radio  Frequency Tissue  Ablation       (RFTA)&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Involves the use of a  needle electrode to  discharge energy waves       that shrinks  excessive tissues in the  throat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With some patients, surgery  will not cure the problem of sleep apnea,  though it may eliminate or  reduce the snoring. It's often difficult to  find the tissue that is the  root of the snoring problem as it may be  located further down the  throat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also, if the tongue is blocking the  airways, there is  not much that can be down surgically to relieve the  snoring.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On  the other hand, some sleep apnea may be caused by problems other than   the palate or obstructive tissue in the throat. A doctor may recommend   that the patient lose weight or cut back on certain habits that may be   causing the sleep apnea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In some people, the condition is caused  by  alcoholic beverages and the patient will need to refrain from  drinking  before bedtime or give up drinking entirely.
